Filed under: Cellphones, Home Entertainment, LaptopsWe’d say 2007 was a pretty big year for Steve Wozniak, what with Kathy Griffin, an Epcot animatronic, some widely covered Apple sentiments, and (honor of honors) an Engadget interview to top it all off. Turns out he’s not backing down in 2008, and spoke …

Oh, St. Patrick’s Day. To a self-respecting Irish-American like myself, it’s such a catch-22: On one hand, it’s a celebration of the fact that our culture knows how to have a damned good time; on …

    1. 20 Things To Do With Your Old iPhone - The new iPhone is out, so what in the world are you gonna do with that old one – and by old we mean, like, 6 months "old." What a great scam AT&T has going! Oh, and Apple, too. Thanks, Steve Jobs, for asking us to buy something, only to render it obsolete before a year was out and asking us to buy its big brother. Frustrating? Yes.
    2. Fun with pins in iVoodoo for iPhone - Pin everyone you hate in the iVoodoo game for Apple's iPhone 3G.
    3. Get Animated Weather Radar on your iPhone and iPod Touch - One of the drawbacks of the iPhone/iPod OS not having Flash compatibility is the loss of those cool animated radar and weather pictures. Well, now you can get these in a number of ways. The donationware Webapp iWeathr is my personal favorite for it's vast repertoire of radar and satellite options. It will even store your favorites!
    4. Hope you didn't plan to actually make calls on iPhone 2.0.2 - Yesterday's release of iPhone 2.0.2 has been mostly welcomed by the ever-critical iPhone-using contingency, but as usual, the firmware is not without its problems. We were able to confirm that the update addresses a few 3G-related issues (but not some of the major 3G problems people are having quite yet), and overall, users are reporting apparent i
    5. In Depth With iPhone Firmware 2.0.2 - Even though 2.0.1 only came out a week ago, Apple has surprised us all again with another “bug fix” release tonight. Of course, being the crazy power user that I am, I decided to put it to the test and reveal to you all my findings.
    6. Inside the iPhone 3G dropped call complaints - Experts and analysts of all stripes are trying to explain what's wrong with the iPhone 3G, but their answers are frequently supported by bad science, outlandish claims, and pure speculation. Here's what's wrong in the reports, and why a simple firmware update is likely to solve the current issues.
    7. Microsoft mandates that iPhone Xbox Live apps stay free - While Microsoft hasn't yet announced an Xbox Live iPhone app of its very own, it has taken a well-intentioned step towards validating the handful of apps currently available on the service: it's required that the developers make their apps free.
